According to MMA Fighting, Perry stated during a press conference prior to the fight, “I’ve never seen him as a brawler-puncher.” He is an excellent grappler. He can grapple and place his hips on opponents with strength. It’s going to be a rude awakening, but props to him because he realizes he’s a fantastic grappler and is now trying to punch. It is. You’ve been playing this game for a while now, man. Now it’s their turn. The following seven years are mine.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion Rockhold entered the MMA professional ranks in 2007. Former middleweight champion of Strikeforce, Rockhold joined the UFC in 2013 and finished 6-5 during his time there.
