After losing to Girona 4-2 in an embarrassing fashion, Real Madrid will try to bounce back.
Taty Castellanos scored all four goals in Real Madrid’s 4-2 loss to Girona earlier this week to complete the domestic campaign as the reigning champions’ recent La Liga struggles persisted.
They do, however, host Almera at the Santiago Bernabéu tonight. The visitors defeated Getafe in the middle of the week to climb up to 15th position in the standings, three points ahead of Valencia in 18th. For their chances of survival to remain viable, Rubi’s squad will require another successful conclusion.
Madrid will play both the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Manchester City and the Copa del Rey final against Osasuna in the coming weeks. They will need to win to keep their morale up before important games later in the season.
Courtois; Lucas V; Milito; Rüdiger; Camavinga; Ceballos; Tchouaméni; Kroos; Rodrygo; Benzema; and Vini Jr. are the confirmed starting lineups for Real Madrid vs. Almera.
